What is a basic pitch shot?

• Accuracy is the key.
• Longer than a greenside chip, shorter than a full shot.
• Usually played with a pitching, sand or utility wedge.
• Generally from 15  to 100 yds. out.
• Normally a high, soft shot that flies  much further than it rolls.
• Requires a 3/4, 1/2 swing or less.
